Anita Abdinezhad
(Sally)
Anita is thrilled to be making her first appearance at OC-centric. In the fall she will be entering into her 3rd undergraduate year at UC Irvine majoring in Drama & double minoring in Biology & Anthropology. Some of her favorite theatre credits include Phyllis in Central Park West, Little Sally in Urinetown! The Musical, Edith in I’ll Be Home for Christmas, Speed in The Two Gentlemen of Verona, & Madeline Astor in the world Premiere of The Last Lifeboat. She’d like to thank Diana for writing such a wonderful story & Paul for letting her be a part in telling it.
Voiza Greene
(Luisa)
Voiza is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and an associate professor of communication and performance studies as Los Angeles Southwest College. She has played a variety of roles from Lucy in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown to Jane in Christopher Durang's 'dentity crisis at the Lab and created the role of Rosa Lane in the historical play Dear Emma.
Julianna Stephanie Ojeda
(Kady)
Julianna is an actor and director. She studies the dramatic arts at the University of California, Irvine where she will graduate in Spring of 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Drama. As an actor her credits include Maria in Yerma and Wife in Blood Wedding by Federico Garcia Lorca. As a director she recently codirected a community engaged new play Contra la Corriente- Against the Current with the Brown Bag Theatre Company and UC Irvine service workers. She'd like to thank Diana Burbano for the opportunity to bring Kady to life. She'd also like to thank her family and friends for their continued love and support.
Lena Romano
(Lulu)
Lena is going into her junior year at Chapman University with a major in Theatre. This is her first show with OC-centric & she is so excited to be a part of this production. Her other credits include, Yaz in Water by the Spoonful, Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, Abigail in The Crucible & Alice in You Can't Take It With You.
Mercy Vasquez
(Slade)
Mercy is an actor, director, playwright, and drama Instructor. She is a faculty member of South Coast Repertory's Conservatory and is honored to be a part of this production.
Gerardo Villa-Lobos
(Nigel)
Gerardo, a native of Southern California and an accountant by day, is thrilled and proud to be in the production of Diana Burbano’s Fabulous Monsters. Having starred in last year’s production of Bender, this is now his 2nd year in this Festival. Among other works include SCR’s production of The Long Road Today as well as various independent and student films. He has received his training at South Coast Repertory and Actors Studio of Orange County, where he is currently studying and working on improving his craft.
